The Cobalt Dragon

ha! for this months ~Mythconduct i got ~Teratornis's character cobalt. ooooh she was fun. can you tell i have a weak spot for badass "i kill you so horribly dead" characters?

anyway, cobalt is essentially an experiment to create super-soldiers gone wrong. shes among a group of people that are supposed to be able to go between human and animal. she kinda got stuck half-way. when funding for the project ran out, instead of, ya know, killing the experiments as is good science, they just let them loose. theres not much for a half-human with scales, horns, a tail and anger issues to do other than hire out as a mercenary.

been over a year since my last real graphite piece. i promise the background is less glaring and offensive in real life. its a lot of work, but its fun. heh, and i do seem to have a bit of a flare for it. will have to start doing these more often, methinks. certainly need to redo my own portrait.
