World-building June (and Life Updates)
Ah, hello! It's been a long time! I am still active here, just a bit quiet. I know a few of you are still around; and thank y'all for stopping by even though I don't return the favor as often as I should >_>
Anyway, I have discovered that this month is World-building June, and I'm participating over on Tumblr, talking about my Federation setting. So! So the nice thing about being a teacher is that I get some lovely summer vacations. The bad thing is that these are not paid vacations. But since this is a vacation, I have plenty of time for commissions!

So the semester has started, and I’m all settled in. I have a much lighter workload this time. However this also means I have a much lighter paycheck. So for the next week (Jan 27-Feb 3) I’m having a 10% off sale on all commission types!

Good news everyone!
I have successfully defended my thesis, and officially have a Master’s in biology. My hope was to go straight on into a PhD program, but so far that hasn’t worked out. It’ll happen, it’s just taking more time than I’d hoped to work out.
But! The university has offered me a teaching position for the fall semester. As an actual lecturer and everything. I am both excited and terrified!
However, I am no longer on payroll as a student. So until the semester starts, I’m living off my savings and parental charity.
